hi i have a problem , i am trying to order books past 30 items and the system wont let me .

example is a list of say 1-50 items , sorted by number 1-50 with names
if i try to reorder books anything past 30 items will not allow you to re orders

the systems sees the heir achy as +15 to -15

any ideas

I'm getting ready to test this and fix it if it's still an issue. Does the same problem exist for the core book module when administering a book's outline?

This appears to be an issue with the core book module. #589440: Reordering fails with more than 31 book pages in a book is where this thing will ultimately get solved.

There's now a Drupal 6 core patch in comment #25 here that should fix the problem: #589440: Reordering fails with more than 31 book pages in a book. Please chime in there if you feel that this core patch should get committed.
