I created a variant to try to replace a node. It says the operation doesnt exist when I try to delete it!

It can be deleted if clicking on a subcontext menu first.....

I need complete, precise instructions to replicate this. 2 sentences is not enough, and I cannot read your mind to see how your site was set up.

Problem confirmed.

Using the delete option of a variant when the general summary is active (picture 1) gives the error(picture 2). When using the summary of the variant the delete option works (picture 3).

MAy be a duplicate indeed.

edit: Did you fix it so that the option works even if the general summary is used? If not, not showing the variant options on the general summary seems to be a UI improvement that could save new users some headaches.
