What is the relationship between Project Mercury & Pressflow?

Ok, to answer my own question: looks like Project Mercury is a project to create a custom stack/Amazon Machine Image for high-performance Drupal, which includes Pressflow as the distribution of the Drupal core code.

@juan_g: What exactly is the focus of this task? Should it be closed? I think http://www.getpantheon.com/ pretty well summarizes the Pantheon project (formerly Project Mercury).

Documentation. In September, there was not much documentation on this -then new- project.
