For some mysterious reason Ads on the front page of the site frequently do not display at all. It is not an issue of having too many adsense ads, there are only two on the front page. It's not an issue of line items reaching their limit because I am using purely adsense and thus a line item/order is not required. The ads display properly on all other pages. It's just the frontpage that keeps having issues.

Can't figure it out for the life of me. Going crazy...

Used firebug to see if the block was even printing out, and found that for some reason instead of printing the div that holds the add it had this line:

GA_googleSetAdContentsBySlotForSync({"Sidebar_right_tower":{"_empty_":true,"_alternate_color_":"0000FF"}});

on all other pages that banner displays properly and there is no difference in settings for the front page from the rest of the pages.

any luck with this issue? I'm experiencing the exact issue right now. It started for us this morning. Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately no, I never solved this issue and I just chalked it up to google not playing nice with the module. I removed ads that weren't displaying. Maybe try and wait it out... sometimes google is slow like that.

So, that's Google's issue ;) I feel DFP is very stable now however.
