Under some circumstances ThemeKey switches the theme even if you want to configure blocks for any theme at /admin/build/blocks.
This simply breaks the block configuration.

I attached a patch that turns of ThemeKey while configuring blocks.

Due to the fact that ThemeKey currently seems to be unmaintained (see #552994: Maintenance? ThemeKey appears to be abandoned) you can download a patched version of ThemeKey 6.x-1.1 from
http://drupal.cocomore.com/de/project/themekey
that fixes these critical issues:
