When I enter a default tax percent in STORM's admin settings page, e.g. 21 percent instead of 20 percent, the new value is not retained in the database. Where is the value saved?

The value is stored as a Drupal variable - so it will not show up in the Storm specific database tables.

Could you confirm which version you are using? 1.20 is not the latest version.
