jcnventuraInstead of providing a screenshot of the option, can you provide a screenshot of an ad showing the problem?
Note that the centering option will center the ad inside the block, but it has no bearing whatsoever in the placement of the block and in the contents of the ad. Also, remember to clear the caches after changing the option so that you're not seeing the cached version of the ad.

jamesmcd commentedjcnventura,
Many thanks for your response. Please find attached a screenshot of the ad showing the problem, as requested.
I have flushed all caches, and tried other placement options, flushing the caches after but I am still having the same problem with the ad appearing off to the left of the block rather than central.

jcnventuraFor some strange reason, the placeholder divs are not affected in the same way as the AdSense ad by the layout style. Can you please check the ads while logged out?

jamesmcd commentedWhen logged out all seems fine. Strange that it appears offset when logged in. It isn't the end of the world, it is just nice to know how it will look having set the ad alignment without having to log out to confirm.
Thanks for your help

jcnventuraYes, it is annoying but until someone finds a way to tell a div or a span to obey the "text-align" style in the enclosing div, we'll have to live with it as it is.
