Hey guys,

I love the Panels Module! I think it would be a nice feature adition to have the ability to save and export flexible layouts that have been created so that other panel pages, mini-panels, or panel-nodes can use them. Not a big deal, but it would be nice.

Maybe I'm missing something, but flexible layouts can already be exported - you can export an entire layout via the menu along the top, or export a particular variant.

Yes this is true. But for newbs like me :). I wouldn't really know what to do with the exported data. I think it woul be cool if you could make a custome flexible layout that would then show up with the rest of the layouts... that way when your making a new panel page you could simply select it. I think that would be easier then trying to fiddle with code. Although obviously it is more work for panels. It would make the module more user freindly.

What I want to do, is save the flexible layout, and use it on the user/%user page.
