Hey,
i've installed Lightbox2 and the Image Modules quite some time ago, and everything went fine until today - i didn't change anything related to LB2 or Image Module, and Lightbox2 suddenly doesn't work any more with my Image Gallery...i've already reinstalled the module, reset the Image Gallery View to its defaults, disabled a bunch of other recently added modules - but nothing happened. As far as I get it, LB2 works on other parts of my site (e.g. Login Form, Inline Images w/ auto handling) without problems, but in the gallery, no more rel="lightbox" attributes are inserted into the code - despite the auto handling options are (still - didn't change anything to when everything worked fine) set the right way...
So whats the preferred way of debugging this? Can I somehow check if Lightbox2 is trying to do its auto-insert work and what goes wrong with it? I've already checked the rest of the source, on the gallery pages the LB2 css and js are correctly referenced in the header, but the rel's are just missing...
Some additional data:
- Browser/OS doesn't matter, happens on all platforms, no matter what login state I have (guest/admin/...)
- No errrors visible in site logs...
- Can't provide an url yet, as it's still a private dev site, but may follow at the weekend when the site goes live...
Thanks for every help,
phlo

Anonymous (not verified) commentedSimilar problem for me, but I have this morning upgraded to latest version of Image and suddenly it doesn't work.

phlo commentedOk, that might be a possible hint - as it seems, my co-admin has also updated the image module on september 5th (and he didn't tell me, damn...), and I found the following in the image module changelog: "#564488 by joachim: Fixed missing variables in Views image gallery template" - that sounds like it might be related to our problem...Any suggestions from anyone?
Will try to downgrade tonight, let's see if that fixes the problems...

2noame commentedYes it's the beta2 version of Image module that has introduced this broken functionality.

deshilachado commented@phlo: did you know that writing [brackets] around the #issuenumber will automagically turn that #issue-number into a link?
like this: #569526: Beta1 to Beta2 breaks Lightbox2 support

2noame commentedThere is a patch for this, and it should also be in the newest dev version.

deshilachado commentedthis is a duplicate of #569526: Beta1 to Beta2 breaks Lightbox2 support and can be closed
the problem is a image.module problem and does not come from lightbox2
there is a patch from 2noame for this which is now in dev and will be in the next release
