Cannot Auth via liveid

Description
Currently using drupal 6.13 and winliveid 6.x-1.x-dev. When attempting to add Activate Windows Live ID I receive the "Unable to authenticate you with windows Live ID."
I have activated my site on the Azure Live services and have the Return Url pointing to http://{mysite}/winliveid/handler, I have also added the pertinent information into the Application-Key.xml file.
I have followed other suggestions, such as placing the required lines into .htaccess and visiting http://{mysite}/winliveid/handler which returns the above message, so according to previous posts, the urls are working correctly, however the linking of the accounts is not working at all.
Please let me know if there is additional information required for this issue.
