I have Maxlength 5.x-2.0 installed on Drupal v5.18, along with the Jquery update 5.x-2.0. After Maxlength is enabled, attempting to create any content results in the WSOD. Maxlength 5-x-1.0 works fine though.

The problem was, that i expect that cck is installed.

I just commited the patch to the DRUPAL-5--2 version.
