thanks for looking at this
I thought by assigning a front page on the configuration -- site information -- default front page to a custom view page
but
an anonymous user can type in www.mysite.com/node and be directed to the original drupal front page.. which, in this instance has no content.. the welcome to your new drupal install.. i've put a blank - more or less page & 'promoted it to front'
but, I cannot 'promote to front' a view page..
how do i get those errant paths.. like node.. to be unavailable.
I am using clean urls and would only like those clean urls to be accessible..all else..not..
i have site redirect installed..and global redirect..but those don't seem to offer / work how i need.
i disabled 'node' access for anonymous users.. but that just rendered all content more or less inaccessible -- restricted..
any thoughts. how to
thanks
