Thanks! I enabled the path module as was recommended. I'm pretty new to this, so I didnt do anything but enable it. :-o But the good part is I am enjoying myself with Drupal!
Thanks! I added the suggestions from here to my .htaccess file and it looks like the SESSIONID's are no longer displaying.
As for the Forums, I like the suggestion, and will look into trimming this list into a more manageable one. The problem I can foresee is not being able to find content easily within certain categories. Possibly taxonomy can help here? (Such as a story in a general fiction area that should be sub-classed as science fiction.)
Thanks again, everyone, for the suggestions. Keep them coming! :)
I want to say thanks, again, to everyone that has taken the time to browse the site and offer their feedback. I believe trimming the forums list might be of some use, and am investigating ways to make it less overwhelming. Thanks again!
I just wanted to say thanks again. And also to tell everyone that I made multiple revisions on the forums section and profiles section. I am ALWAYS open for feedback, as this is all new to me.
One question I have is how can I track which search engines have picked me up and some easy ways to get this to happen?

Good Effort
Just one thing - I think you put too many forum categories... even the most successful forums dont have a lot of categories...

A nice effort.
A nice effort.
Try getting rid of the Session ID's. e.g.
http://www.sighingsage.com/?q=forum/2&PHPSESSID=c43f9d454d20726f713dfda3...
They'll play havoc with search engines and are a security breach. There's a page on how to remove them somewhere around here...
Blap for all you're worth!

Looks nice
The forum list is a bit overwhelming.
Your email links in the about us page do not work.
Also, I would remove the email address and use a contact form or you will soon have tons of spam!
Good luck.

After you have enabled the path module, you can change the path to forums for the forums so you get: example.com/forums

Forums look great!
Forums look great!
On google just search "site:www.sighingsage.com" and if your there, that means your on the search results.
Easy ways to get listed? Simple, just put your sites as your signature at the bottom of each post you do here and any other forum you post to.
