NodeMap

I've downloaded a weather module and now have the NodeMap on my desktop ready . . . for what? I can't find the install instructions. Can someone help me out? Where do I put this folder? Do I move folder and all or just files? Will it need activating? My Drupal says I need it for the weather block to work.

According to the module and the project page, it doesn't require the nodemap module but will integrate with it if you are using that module (same for the location module).
If you want to use the nodemap module, just install it like any other module.
