Looking through the issue queue, it appears that the stable D6 release for Comment Page is broken:
Users have identified the issue and have suggested fixes for the issue, and have asked the maintainer(s) to commit a fix (patch was supplied in october 2008), but there has been no recent activity from the maintainer(s).
Adding this issue to the queue to determine whether or not this module is abandoned. See Dealing with abandoned projects for more information.

rszrama commentedI was maintaining the Drupal 5 version for use on Ubercart.org and intchanter came on to develop the Drupal 6 port. As far as I'm concerned, looking at the dates of commits and issues, we can consider this abandoned but with a working Drupal 5 release.
Are you interested in maintaining this or in getting it noted that as of Drupal 6 this has been abandoned? Or do we have to wait and see if intchanter is interested in actively maintaining this again?

mr.baileysHi rszrama,
are you still maintaining the Drupal 5 version of this module?
I might be able to spare some time to help get a working D6 version out there, but longer term it might be best to search for a (co-)maintainer for this project (see http://drupal.org/node/336260). As far as I know, it's not possible to "abandon" a specific version of a project, so either the project is abandoned in it's entirety, or the D6 release might have to be unpublished (since according to the issues it is not stable/usuable as is).

rszrama commentedGotcha. Well, maintenance hasn't really been required for the 5.x branch. (As you can see, the only 5.x issues are postponed and should probably just be closed.) If a critical security issue were to be discovered, I'd definitely fix it if needed, but I'm definitely not doing any further features or things for it.

FlemmingLeer commentedA drupal 7.x branch with the same feature as comment page is currently being backported to Drupal 6.x

rszrama commentedI think I'm just going to edit the project page and remove the 6.x release. I'll point to http://drupal.org/project/permalink.
