Conflicts with 'Authoring Information' fields

Minor appearance bug: Compact Forms conflicts with the 'Authored by' and 'Authored on' fields under 'Authoring Information.' If those two fields are pre-populated with information, Compact Forms tries to overlay both the label as well as the current value of the field. I'm attaching a screenshot to show the double overlay.

I've verified the error in both IE and Firefox under the Acquia Marina and Zen themes, as well as both with and without Vertical Tabs installed.

This is a minor issue, and likely only to affect administrators (people who have the ability to change the author or date of posts) but it's icky to try to read the double overlay.
