I have tried both 6.x-1.0 and 6.x-1.x-dev (downloaded today). Neither works. The problem seems similar to bugs that have been reported before, but those bugs have notes claiming they have been fixed.

When I install Stock API and Stock on Drupal 6.13, they seem to install correctly, but when I try to configure Stock, I get the following:

    * warning: Missing argument 1 for drupal_get_form() in /usr/local/web/lamp/users/wsbe/site/includes/form.inc on line 69.
    * warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, '' was given in /usr/local/web/lamp/users/wsbe/site/includes/form.inc on line 366.

Is anyone out there able to get this to work on D6?

And to clarify, there are no settings options on the configuration page. There is nothing visible other than the error messages.
