Howdy,

I have been using the gmap API for building mashups of my location enabled content via a custom site module. I use the gmap array to define the map and in terms of basic functionality I am rocking (thanks to all the hard work on the gmap module!)

My question is if anyone knows how to designate one marker (out of the array of markers) to have its popup open by default when the map is first loaded?

The idea is that when a user looks at the location map for a content item (e.g. a photo), it shows that other content items (e.g. other photos) that are in close proximity - as the user may find that connectivity interesting. To help distinguish the item of interest from the proximity items a different custom marker icons. As an extra step I would also like the popup for that item to be open by default when the map is first loaded.

I have searched high and low for how to do this, but so far I haven't found any option yet... So does anyone here have an idea?

If I have missed some documentation somewhere I apologize for bother!

Thanks for any input!

Wendell
