With Internationalization, BLock translation, and other Language modules can only see title of Block, no content

Description
At first I could not see any assigned NodeAsBlock blocks at all (I use this facility on lots of other sites without Internationalization).
vs. Block translation, Internationalization 6.x-1.1
Then I upgraded to 6.x-1.0-beta1 from 2009-Aug-20.
Now I can only see the block title, but no content.
Does not matter what language I choose (accessible under configure for block from admin/build/modules
Fails even for simplest block with one word in body (so not teaser display problem).
Node as page displays fine.
