Hi,

In few of the work records the images appear distorted when they display as a large image for example:

In the above work record the default image (i.e large image) is vertically rectangular, so when you click on another image (i.e small image) that is horizontally rectangular it is smashed/distorted to fit in the size of the default image.

The images are not distorted when we flush the image cache presets (artwork_image & work_big_image), but as soon as we click Shift+refresh the distortion problem comes up.

Can you'll help me with a solution to this problem.

i'm also having this problem in v 1.19.2.28

trick is to go into Imagecache administration page and review the default settings. once you find out what the H/W is, it's much easier to build images that don't distort.

it looks like you're sorted it out since posting this. i'm guessing that the problem was either you were using the wrong action for resizing or your javascript code was wonky.
