Help With Unordered Lists

Can someone please help me figure out how to get my unordered lists to indent with images that are aligned to the left?
I found that this person was having the same exact problem here:

People have posted solutions and included images of what I am trying to accomplish. I would have included the image, but I don't know how to upload them to a post in this forum.
I am using the Foliage Theme. I put an image in my page, align it to the left, then write text. Whenever I create a bullet for the text, the bullet stays to the right of the image instead of indenting.
Can someone please help? Thank you!

I am sorry, but an image is needed. Can you put something on flickr.com, or somewhere else?
You say others have posted images, but if you mean on experts-exchange.com, that's only accessible with a paid account.
Furthermore, are you talking about theming, or about content-creation?
