Issue Summary
This is a follow-up to #517688: Initial D7UX admin overlay: we need to fix how the size of the iframe is recomputed when navigating to a new page inside the overlay. Currently, the iframe container collapse itself for a brief moment before the content of the target page is loaded and processed. This is very unpleasant and looks amateur.

I'll agree to do this once the main overlay patch gets in. It will be much pleasanter to work with smaller patches. :)

Still seems to be an issue, so I'm moving it to the correct queue.

#664450: Heavy flicker effect due to white background rebuilding every time when going to new page within overlay is probably a duplicate but has a nice series of screenshots illustrating the problem.
It was also pointed out, though, that this behavior may wind up being fixed by the latest patches at #615130: Overlay locks up the browser and consumes 100% of CPU for certain browsers/graphics cards/operating systems.

This was fixed for a while, but I'm seeing it again on the latest HEAD. Anyone else?
(If it's already being worked on somewhere else, feel free to close this again and post a link to that issue.)

Ah, yes, I think that's it. Sorry for missing that one.
