I entered an informational description for the resource when I created it. I expected that the user would see this before booking. Where is it?

That's a fairly good question. I think I could add a view that displays the resources with their descriptions.
Would this solve your problem?

Yes, that would be useful. How difficult is it for us to create our own views of the information?

Its not difficult - simply add a new view (resource view) and add the needed fields :)

I tried to edit one of the existing views (the resource description) but it complained about it being the default view and wouldn't let me edit it. Guess I'll have to read up on using Views.

Thanks, I just looked at Greg Knaddison's screencast on Views 2 and it's a lot clearer.
