We just launched DefinitionSeek.com using Drupal. Our site provides categorized glossaries of terms of several areas of human knowledge. Currently we have glossaries of computers and internet, health and medicine, instrumentation and control, internet marketing and chemistry, and we are working in more glossaries that will be added soon.

We based most of the glossary functionality in the nodelist.module, although we heavily modified this module to create tabs for each alphabet letter, and to create a indexing function that search and highlight terms that appear in external pages.

We also create an AJAXSearch module to locate definition terms on the fly: http://www.definitionseek.com/ajaxsearch

Currently we are testing a module for Drupal Sites that will offer the same functionality of the glossary.module but without the need of adding terms by your self. See it at work
HERE

If you are interested in testing this module please send me a mail to leflores [AT] gmail.com.

Our site it is just beginning, we are be waiting for comments and suggestions of some new functionality, some interesting way to integrate our glossaries to your site, a new glossary to add, or almost anything else you could tell us.

an ajaxsearch module is something that a lot of users have been asking for, in order to make something like craiglist, a business review site, etc, etc. We've announced this in our news section.

is it possible to get a list of the modules you used?

How are the search results ordered?

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reasonfor the results on this page.

Hey leflores,
I like the design and 3 column design. I was wondering what you're using to display the categories on this page: http://www.definitionseek.com/sitemenu

I'm assuming it's the sitemenu module with a few tweaks, or possibly a custom one with much the same function as sitemenu.

The ajaxsearch is sweet by the way

Thanks
