The included liquid.mysql does not work with PostgreSQL so I made slight changes and made liquid.pgsql (attached). Seems to work fine.

Could I beg you to help me translate the current install scripts to postgre? I don't run postgre at the moment so I haven't got the chance to play with it. (currently the install scripts does nothing if you use postgre... not good)
