I'm now using this module. Thanks for the work on it.

What is the priority of access to cck field viewing and editing related to permissions, "display fields", and Workflow States. For example, if a user role does not allow permission to edit a field, but Workflow States is set to allow it, then what happens. Or, if a display field is set to excluded or hidden, what happens if I tick the view for a certain role in Workflow Fields?

The correct behavior is that all permission-related field settings should override Workflow Fields. Workflow Fields will not enable access to a field that is otherwise disabled.

If there are cases that contradict this, please file them as bugs.
