Super Taxonomy Menu!

Ok, here is what I would really love to have but I am not sure if it is possible. My site www.kokekokkou.net 's taxonomy is based on location, language, content, so I would really love it if more than one taxonomy could be selected. For example. In the "What" column there is "vege-restaurants", right? So if you click that ALL the vege-restaurants come up. But then there is the "where" column and it has "kyoto". If you click that all the things in Kyoto come up. Say I want vege-restaurants in kyoto, if I could select "vege-restaurants" and "kyoto" then only the nodes with BOTH those taxonomies come up. That would be awsome.

I picture this with check boxes and a "go" button. Also since the taxonomy is, in some places, heirarchical, If you select one taxonomy then all its children should be auto selected. For example, There is "Japan", right? So if I select "Kansai" then "Kyoto", "Osaka", "Kobe" should all auto select since they are all in Kansai.

Anyway this is my dream taxonomy module if it is possible to make this please let me know. I would be willing to try to make this on my own but I have no experience what so ever. If you could give me a little guidance I would go for it.
