Hello,
When I add the fupload widget for a simplenewsletter content and create a new content and then click save, simplenew displays the following error:
"No newsletter term is selected, the newsletter taxonomy term is probably not configured correctly.
Check and save the Simplenews general settings."
The newsletter test send does work, but it's empty (possibly due to that error).
However, the node itself does get created and display properly with those attached images.
I checked the taxonomy and its term, but I don't see anything unusual. Is this a bug? Let me know if additional info is needed:
Drupal 6.13
Simplenews 6.x-1.0-rc6
Fupload 6.x-3.0-rc2

pharoz commentedHere's the detail:
Modules enalbed relating to Image:
FileField
ImageField
Image FUpload (CCK)
Image
Image FUpload (image)
ImageAPI
ImageAPI GD2
ImageCache
Imagecache Canvas Actions
ImageCache UI
Simplenews
Mime Mail
Pathauto
Steps:
1. Go to Content Management -- Content type
2. For the Simplenews content type, click on manage field
3. Add a new field: File type -> Image FUpload
4. At the configuration screen for that widget, select the following options
- Storage Mode: Multiple images per node
- Global settings: Number of values --> Unlimited
5. Create a new newsletter.
6. Upload more than one image using FUpload widget.
7. Choose option to send a test newsletter.
8. Click on Save for FUpload to do its thing. It will upload images and send a blank newsletter.
9. Click on next step.
10. At the edit caption area, click on Done Editing.
11. Error appears and you can't proceed further, but the newsletter does get publish.
After reflecting on this, I'm not sure if this is a simple newsletter issue or a FUpload issue, but thanks for looking into it!

pharoz commentedAlso, if I change the widget type to "image" and upload the images, it works without any issue. Only thing is that fupload is more convenient when mass uploading photos...
