I've pretty much got a site ready to launch except I've run across a problem. I have the latest versions of firefox and internet explorer. When I view my site in firefox, everything is perfect. when I view the site in internet explorer, it won't allow me to switch the site language. I pretty much only have dummy text for now but, that's not the issue. If the path is set to the root of the site, it shows the czech text, when it should be english. If the path is set to the czech part, it still shows czech. It behaves properly in firefox though. Any idea what this could be? Is this a browser problem? A me problem? Here's the test site on my own web space: http://waylanandlaurie.com/store/
Thanks...

language negotiation?
which language negotiation are you using?
try "path prefix only"
since "path prefix with fallback" follows browser language preferences when no prefix is present (which is always the case of the front page)
what language preferences have each of your browsers?
woops
Hello, sorry to have such a flaky reply but I've fixed the problem and I honestly don't remember what I did. I believe I tweaked the language negotiation. Thank you!
I have similar problem, and I think you still have that problem
Hi goye2cz,
I have similar problem, only with IE and Safari. The language negotiation is set to "Path prefix with language fallback."
I will try to reset it to "Path prefix only." just like what Arhak suggest. I have no solution so far.
You said that you have solved the problem. I have tried your site with FF, IE(7), Chrome, and Safari. The problem still exists with IE(7) and Safari. Does this problem re-emerge?
Regards,
Albert
thanks
I have also experienced such problems, thanks for your reply

I should have followed up stating that I have abandoned the test site for which I left a link. I fixed the problem on a different site. I fixed the problem by admin/settings/language/configure and setting language negotiation to path prefix only and then admin/settings/language/i18n and for content selection mode: current language and language neutral.
Sorry for the confusion!
issue is intact in my IE7.
