I made the mistake to update to the dev module now when I revert I have SQL errors like
user warning: Table 'itemplate.plugin_manager_repository' doesn't exist query: SELECT title FROM plugin_manager_repository WHERE short_name = 'job_queue' in /home/akayani/imagonullius.com/webtemplate/sites/all/modules/plugin_manager/plugin_manager.module on line 171.
I can't seem to get the module to update the DB.
Any clues?

I was having the same sort of problem. the 2.x dev said that "one of my modules was no longer supported", that module being the plugin manager itself. I clicked on the link and all that was available was the 1.x dev. Naturally, I assumed that 2.x had been dropped or merged back into 1.x...
Long story short.... even deleting all the plugin-manager_% tables and re-installing plugin manager doesn't seem to resolve the issues. I'll have to look into it this weekend... though I'd love to see the answer to the original problem, which you're having.

On second thought... maybe my deletion/re-install worked. My other site can't do todays update of FckEditor either... hmmm...

So early in the set up I just deleted the DB and reinstalled.
