Hi,

I've got a mailman mailing list attached to a Drupal forum via mailhandler and listhandler. The problem I'm seeing is with my outlook users, when they email to the mailing list their posts come up with a lot of style tags exposed in the post. Makes the forum practically undereadable.

I'm using Drupal 4.6.6 with the following commands in mailhandler:

tid: 3
format: 3

The menu for Mime handler is set to html. Input format is set to Full Html (though you can see I tried adding format: 3 in the commands as well).

An example post (with some names edited out) is below:

 name="place" downloadurl="http://www.5iantlavalamp.com/"/>

name="PlaceType" downloadurl="http://www.5iantlavalamp.com/"/>

name="PlaceName" downloadurl="http://www.5iantlavalamp.com/"/>

Hi All – Here are the docs that I was trying to send
out over skype this morning (for me):

style='mso-list:Ignore'>3)
style='font:7.0pt "Times New Roman"'>
size=2 face=Arial>Article 3

I really want to encourage all of us to start posing
questions, comments, observations about the readings and project in general using
the solaeindia listserve – this gives us the flexibility to continue conversations
and discussions outside of a formal call.

All the best,

EE

Thoughts? When I copy the above text into an HTML editor it appears just fine, but Drupal can't seem to render it...

To not use the Full HTML filter and use Filtered HTML instead. I think this still makes the formatting of messages funky, pulls out most of the tags, but certainly is more readable than with all those tags there.

I love these conversations with myself.

I've attempted to do this, but do not like a solution where uyo still end up with html code embedded within the text of a post. it seems both messy and unreadable to non-technical users.

I also have this issue. Oulook seems to put

The code is below. What I cant understand is why the filterd html filter does not strip it out?
