Forum post buttons "Save" and "Preview" disappear when BUEditor is enabled

Hi! I've come to find that when the BUEditor is enabled on forum post text areas, the Save and Preview buttons disappear completely. When I disable the module, they reappear. This only seems to happen when we edit posts, not when we create them originally.
What could be causing this problem?
