Hi, I'm trying to add a variant to node_view and when I try to add conext or add relationship the popup windows opens and i receive the message "Server reports invalid input error." and when I close the windows with the error message the windows remains loading for ever. How can I solve this problem? Thanks for the help. I'm using the Amity Island Theme.

That sounds like it may be a javascript crash - if you're using Firefox, you can check with ctrl-shift-j to bring up the javascript console and see where it's dying. That'd be a real help. Or Firebug, if you're using that. :)

yes, I think that it's a problem with the javascript. I tried also in IE and it doesnt works...I saw error in the cntrl-shift-j panel but I cleaned the console to see only the error according to the error we are talking about, but when I tried adding a conext and looked up for the error, there's no error in the console but I still get the essage "Server reports invalid input error." and the javascript stays loading.... Sory if my explanation is confusing...Any suggestion? I suppose the problem it's based in the apache or something but I'm not an expert on the topic... (I don't manage coding)

Are you really using rc1? Something like this was fixed in 3.0 I think.

Yes, I think so, to check it, I'm using this this version: http://drupal.org/node/554226 . I install it again, and now I can't even reach the part of adding context, I receive this error after clicking Adding Variant: "warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\Archivos de programa\wamp\www\drupal\includes\form.inc on line 1428."

What can I do? Thanks for the help

PROBLEM SOLVED, i updated chaos tools and it fixed, I'm really sory esmerel and merlin i took your time and it was a very simple thing!

Having Panels and CTools out of sync can cause weird problems, unfortunately. :/

I am having this problem with Panels 3.1 and Chaos Tool 1.1.

I upgraded from the previous version of panels/ctools using drush update.

I am using Chrome as the browser.

I should add that this seems to work fine on a blank D6 install, but does not work correctly on our production test site.

You probably shouldn't have re-opened a closed issue, since the information between the two is confusing. Can I ask that you 1) post a new issue, and 2) provide full information. i.e, exactly what you're doing, and most importantly, any errors that may appear in the apache/watchdog/php error logs when this happen.
