If I only want people to use the global account it still leaves an empty twitter tab in the user account. Can we hide this as it is redundant unless people have permissions to add and import their twitter accounts.

muhleder commentedThis tab comes from the User Page display in the twitter View. If you remove that display, (and maybe then refresh the menu cache?) then the tab won't show any more. Would assume you could change the access to the View as well.
Might be nice if the default view could be set to not show if there were no items.

parrottvision commentedoh! Thanks - that is great. I didn't realise it had a view attached. This is a good enough solution for me and easy to re-enable should I need it. Will close this.

xbery commentedWouldn't it be better to directly assign this view to be seen by people with permission to import their own tweets?
Just guessing but I think I have recently seen that views can be restricted by role OR by given permission :-)
