Have had this module in place for some time, but just today I decided to try out the blocks. I get this error when either block is activated:

Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in [path to]/modules/birthdays/birthdays.module on line 1445. I have just received an email notifying me of upcoming birthdays, so I don't know why the module seems to be failing when building the blocks.

jQuery Update Installed correctly

By now the D5 version is not supported anymore. But if someone volunteers a patch or a co-maintainership application are likely to get accepted.
