#5 is there now, goal is to integrate user fields with Content Profile. Should work simple as that.

Just to clarify: We all would like to see the ability for users to edit their Content Profile fields on the same page as their account info without having to click the "Profile" tab right?

I would really rather see this integrated directly into Content Profile. Looking at the issue cue for that Account Profile module listed above, it seems like the author is going about it all wrong. I know fago's attention must be spread thin over all the many modules he manages, but he may be the best hope for moving forward on this.

@betz: I'm sure it would be, there should definitely be this option in the "profile edit tab" section.. if you submit a patch and we all test it, I'm sure the maintainers won't mind submitting it
