E-Publish breadcrumb questions

I have a few questions with regard to E-Publish's breadcrumb trail:

1. First and most important: Is there some way to control what node types it appears on? It shows up nicely on Story nodes, but doesn't seem to want to show up on galleries created with Node Gallery (which I had chosen over the usual Image module specifically so that the galleries could be associated with E-Publish editions). They still get the annoying Node Gallery breadcrumb of "[username]'s galleries" instead. Is there any way to get E-Publish to use its breadcrumb there?

2. It seems odd that E-Publish's breadcrumb doesn't include the topic the article is in. Is there any way to get it to do that? So that you could have something like edition number > topic > article ?

3. Is there any way to get the E-Publish breadcrumb to show up on views? This magazine needs a listing of the articles in each topic, and since E-Publish doesn't seem to generate that (not sure why not - it seems like something it ought to include), I had to use Views for that, but that means no E-Publish breadcrumb.

4. Finally, is there any way to remove the first link in the breadcrumb - the one to the publication? In this case, the site basically *is* the publication, and the home page points to that page anyway, so it would be nicer to have just a generic "home" link at the beginning the way breadcrumb trails usually do.
