Content categorization of Products and News section

I need your help in content categorization (of product/News section). I want to display a list of products in a single page with the filtering options so that user can sort the products by business type (like Small business, Mid business and Large Business). my page will be look like http://www.nappliance.com/products/nGatewaymISA.asp?tab=1 and also the same listing in News Page where user can sort the News year wise (like 2009, 2008 and 2007).
I have researched for modules but failed to get the right one.
Grouping content
You can group content by taxnomy module avilable with drupal, and later use views to display content filtered by that taxnomy tag.
