I won't have time to take a look at this until October. I'm going on vacation tonight.
To help me, when does this error come up when you are using the module?

We are affected by this error too. We have recently added the Advanced Profile Kit. I had just enabled that and imported the fields available for APK. Then I tried to add a comment to my own user's "comment wall" on my profile. After doing this is when the fatal error occurred. I get this error every time I try to load my user profile now. I can browse *other* user's profiles but not my own now.

I found the bug, and have committed a fix. Nothing to do with APK.
