I consistently forget to click Upload after browsing to find my CSV file. I browse and choose the local file, then and click Next.
I obviously then have to redo: Browse, then click Upload, then click Next...

It would be great if Node Import would mirror Drupal core's Upload ("attach") behavior by automatically uploading and using the browsed-for file when Next (or Save, in core,) is pressed -- instead of requiring a two part (upload first, then continue) process.

Could you consider including the meta description tag as an import field in node import? Pretty important for SEO. Thanks.

Changing issue back to the original feature request as Meta Tag Description Import is not related as such - perhaps open a new feature request.

+1 for the initial feature request too and the Meta Tag request please :)
