i'm using the fusion core theme with acquia theme and i've added nice menu module but the js dont work

its not a z-index problem...

any ideas ?

Had nice menus with Adaptive Theme with default css and no pointer to custom css file in theme - worked OK. Changed to Fusion starter subtheme and the directional sub menus not not appear in Fusion FIRST SIDEBAR REGION upon theme switch. Submenus with right directionality do appear in other region. Seems its all about styling.
