Possible integration with OG for D7 [#579454]

I have started to port OG to D7 #567840: Upgrade to Drupal 7 (Organic Groups). Haven't got an OK from Moshe yet, but I'm trying to swap some OG stuff with rules integration. For example, when a user is subscribe to a moderated group, notify the group admin -- here.

I was wondering about the state of Rules 2, and if maybe it will be already possible to start the integration?

Ok, got an OK from Moshe, so this is pretty exciting - Rules will be an important part of OG (but not a dependency).

that's awesome!

Rules integration won't change much, only minor changes. As I'm away in oct now, I'd predict a first usable version with UI at the end of november. API only is close to be finished.
