Right now I can only choose a US and Canadian phone number, or an Australian phone number etc. What if I want to allow both?
Would it be better if there is only one Phone field type, then we go to field config settings and choose what kind it's?

I'm brand new to Drupal, but I'd like to see something along these lines as well. I may have registered users in several countries, and it would make sense for the phone field type to be dependent on the country entered. I've noticed a 'World Phone' module has existed, but hasn't been updated in quite some time. Is that more along the lines of what I would want, or can someone provided direction on how to possibily modify this module in that direction?
