Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone was working on a KittenAuth module for Drupal as an alternative to using captcha?

FWIW, I can tell you that the maintainer of captcha was recently looking for someone to take it over.

I'm the creator of KittenAuth and Im currently in the process of porting and improving it. Once we have stable working code I'll make sure the projects like Drupal get working implementations. Drop me a comment on the main site if you're after something specific as I cant say I'll check back here as I'm so busy.

Cool, will do. BTW, just want to say how brilliantly simple and logical KittenAuth is, I can't see spam bots ever finding a way to cicumvent KittenAuth without tapping into some backend exploit of the particular system using it (which wouldn't be a fault of KittenAuth anyway). Only suggestion I'd have is to be able to use any sort of pictures (I'm not a big cat person), which I would say makes the project more a PictureAuth rather than KittenAuth. Anyway, I'll post this over on your site...

Captchas in general are questionable as a 'long'-term solution.

I'm now a Drupal user and I'm getting things setup now.

I'm going to be working the site for a couple of days and getting the demo into drupal (I'm having some teething issues with the session handler).

After that's done I'll share the core code with anyone that wants to help with it and after that open it up to plugin development. If you are or know of any module developers that would like to work on the project please push them in my general direction.
