I am very new to website development, and this year, I was given the responsibility to updating my clubs website with Drupal. I've got all the features working that I need, but now I am looking to add some flash to the site.

I'm not sure exactly what it's called, but I would like to add a block to my home page that looks like what www.roosterteeth.com has on their homepage. This block takes the most recent posts to their website, and lets viewers hover over small thumbnails of the post to see a larger picture with a small teaser line. A view can click the image and be taken to the original post to read more.

Does a module already exist to accomplish something like this?

Thanks for the help, since I wasn't sure how to search for this, I just decided to post to the forums for help.

For displaying the flash in the front page as like in the www.roosterteeth.com you can make use of the slider module like easy slider,content_slider module etc..please try this.
