Sinan Erdem commentedI just went to the site building > menus > settings to see that "Source for the primary links: " is set to "No primary links" by itself. It happened after the update. Strange...

manop commentedAfter updating to 6.14, I got a similar problem with my admin menu. It disappears displaying the message "You do not have any administrative items."

pereztur commentedI have a production web site with Drupal.
Today I upgraded from version 6.13 to 6.14 and lost access to the administration menu of the website, do not show this items.
Only the normal user can browse the web site but I can manage.
I uploaded the files for version 6.13 again and it not was fixed, apparently the problem is in the database :(
I'm desperate, i would appreciate if you give me some tip how to solve it.
Thank you very much for your time
Best regards, Luis

Sinan Erdem commentedWhere do you try to access your administration pages? Do you use Admin Menu module? Or did the navigation menu on the sidebar disappear? Did you try yoursite.com/admin ?
By the way, your problem is not related with the title of this issue, I think. If you open a new issue, you can get better help maybe...

manop commentedI found my problem now. It's Admin Menu Module issue (3.0 alpha3), not Drupal 6.14 problem. When I uninstall Admin Menu, I can see all items in /admin

pereztur commentedHello thank you very much, but I do not use the Admin Menu module
Attempted access to yoursite.com/admin and no menu options are displayed :(

Sinan Erdem commentedHmm, it can also be related with "pathauto" module. I had a problem with it some time ago very similar to yours. Can you try with "cleanurls" disabled and try to connect yoursite.com/?q=admin ? Of course if you can get access to the "cleanurl" option. If you cant, you can try erasing your htaccess file under your main folder with FTP. It will disable cleanurls. Later you can replace it...

pereztur commentedHello, I tell them I could solve my problem!
Very strange, clear the data cache and a day and a half after the problem was solved and I could access the administration menu

geo96929 commentedI had the exact same experience... and finally clicked to Menu/Site Building/Menus/Settings... AND under Source for Primary Links, selected Primary Links. This fixed the horizontal primary menu (in all my themes) back like before the upgrade.
Hope this helps!
