Hello, We are looking at the feasibility of using SSP Player/Director in conjunction with Drupal 6.13 for our newspaper site. I am fairly new to Drupal and SSP both so please bear with me here. We would like to allow our writers to use SSP Director to completely manage all images outside of drupal and create various albums one for each new story they publish. Then in Drupal they would link up newly created SSP Albums from director to the new story node in Drupal and the SSP player would display the proper slideshow with each published story node. We also need to use just one master SSP SWF to handle all the slideshows on the various nodes. We don’t want to force writers to open FLAs and publish new SWFs for each story.
(I hope that made sense to someone other than myself Heh Heh)
I am a bit fuzzy on just how to go about this. It seems like this module is targeted towards using image gallery views from Drupal to feed the SSP Player as opposed to Director. Do I even need this module to accomplish my mission?
I DID read about someone trying to do this with the Drupal 5 version of this module.

However, I got lost along the way somewhere in there (some things over my head I suppose) PLUS it is unclear to me if what they are talking about there even applies to the Drupal 6 version or not.
Any light you could shed on this for me would be greatly appreciated! I am really excited about getting SSP integrated into our new upcoming Drupal 6.13 newspaper site.

This module currently does not support Director, Ill be working to get that integrated, but I need an account with Director that has been purchased. I have no idea when I will move to this feature, but I imagine it wont be for awhile.
