Uploading large files to Amazon S3

Description
Was wondering if anybody else has run into problems uploading large (above 100MB) files to amazon s3 and what they did to fix. I get the following from media mover when trying to upload a large file:
S3::putObject(): [RequestTimeout] Your socket connection to the server was not read from or written to within the timeout period. Idle connections will be closed. in /sites/all/modules/media_mover/contrib/mm_s3/S3.php on line 369.
