Duplicate Functionality

I have contacted the commiters of the Update Status Aggregator module in hopes of combining efforts. It seems that there have been no commits for a year and no attempts at a Drupal 6 version.

I have proposed a similar module (Update Monitor) and was alerted to your module (Update Status Aggregator) as duplicate functionality. I would like to combine efforts.

Would you consider granting me committ access to the Update Status Aggregator Module so that I may create a Drupal 6 version?
