Hi i am wondering does the clean pagination works for the drupal 5 if yes then does it works with url alias path

I have installed the 5.x-1.x-dev version of the clean pagination but it does not work at all and all the pagination links get distorted i some how using function drupal_get_path_alias in the phptemplate_pager_link i changed the path with its url alias but the link are not working and it send me to some different page.

Can you let me know what should i do in this case as i can do coding in the files if you have any solution or any feedback kindly let me know.
